Is the racking load limit clearly visible and has not been exceeded? *

IF NO - Remove any load which may exceed racking load limit. If the load limit is not visible then report to a supervisor or ensure that racking load is established and marked.

Are all loads or pallets stored correctly? No leaning, overhanging or unstable loads. *

IF NO - Remove any leaning, overhanging or unstable load from the racking, restore if possible, otherwise ensure suitable racking is available to safely store the load.

Are all items stored on racking suitable to be stored on racking? *

IF NO - Ensure that alternative storage is established for items that are unsuitable for storage via racking systems.

Are all vertical support columns anchored to the floor and all the required bolts are in place? *

IF NO - Report the issue to a supervisor, suspend use of the racking and contact your competent person for racking.

Are vertical support columns free from damage, such as dents or scrapes, twisting or buckling? *
